Lack Of Sleep Can Kill Women - Scientists Say

Its no joker, sleep is necessary for our health and normal life. But scientists just went one step further to show how important it is for us, especially women. 

But why women actually need more sleep than men? Are women smarter, so they require more sleep? Well, no, but here is what the scientists have discovered: the female brain is more active than the male one. They can do several tasks at the same time, and they use more of their brain capacity than the men do. 

"Now we know how mothers can be a nurse, nanny, cleaner, psychologist, gardener, teacher, wife, career women, and all others at the same time."

Consequently, women need more sleep to get restored. Here is what a sleep expert says: “One of the primary functions of sleep is to allow the brain to recover and repair itself. The more of your brain you use during the day, the more of it that needs to recover and, consequently, the more sleep you need.” 

Another interesting study showed that men have more connections inside each hemisphere of their brains, but ladies have more connections between the hemispheres. This is why men can get more focused on the things they do, while women are the multi-taskers. 

We could compare the brain with the cars. Female ones are speedier, but the male ones are capable of carrying heavier loads. It’s like comparing a Ferrari to a truck. Ladies’ brain is more gentle and easier to damage. It takes longer to recover it, too. So, that’s why women need more sleep. 

Thus, sleep deprivation has worst effects on women, than men. Lack of sleep can turn your life into a nightmare, ladies, and eventually, it can kill you, as you have no chance to get restored. So, love yourself enough to get as much sleep as you need. And this also goes to those babies, teenagers, and men who give mothers and ladies a hard time.
