How to Perform Crunches For A Toned Stocmach

Crunches are a great form of strength training exercise which works on your abdominals. If done right crunches can help you maintain a flat toned stomach.

How to Perform Crunches

  • Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart.
  • Place your hand behind your head so that your thumbs are behind your ears.
  • Gently pull your stomach (abdominals) inward
  • Lift your head, neck, and shoulders off the floor and forward (make sure your legs don't move).
  • Hold them there for a moment, but be sure not to pull on your neck and then slowly back down.
  • Then repeat.
